Title: Great Fun with Friends!
The only thing we wished for was a livelier nightlife for young party-goers. It would have been even more fun if there were some clubs or bars nearby where we could dance and have a great time.

Convenient for our touring itinerary. Suprisingly quiet for a town-centre location. Excellent dinner, staff fine after a difficult start.
Usual darkly depressing French decor, especially corridors. Room really could do with some lighter touches.

Traditional French hotel, used to be on the main road but there is now a bypass making the rooms very quiet at night. Staff friendly and helpful.
The shower/toilet room was like a very small labrynth, anyone larger than average would find access to the shower difficult.

A nice friendly hotel with a good restaurant which was very popular with the locals. We ate outside with friends who were also staying at the hotel and had an excellent meal. Our room was huge and we had a full size fridge.
The bedrooms were not very soundproof - a lot of creaking etc. The exterior belies the quality of the accommodation.

Hotel staff were very friendly, they were happy to help with anything and even booked an excursion for us.
Rooms were very small (well ours was!!) and this was not good for two people staying 8 nights! It annoyed us somewhat that they had bigger double occupancy rooms free at the time also so there didn't seem to be any valid reason for having us in a tiny room. Also, there was no kettle, or any other facilities for that matter.

A good location for exploring the area. Excellent food and a friendly helpful staff.
As a gourmet restaurant it was rather pricey and we could not afford to eat there more than a couple of times. It would have been great if they had a set menu at a more reasonable rate as there isn't a lot of choice in the area.
